My First Review.
Movie: Juno.
I know it's a bit cheesy to have my first review be the best movie ever made, but it has to be done.
What more could want from a film than a teenager, Juno, that every girl wants to be (minus the whole teen-pregnancy thing) and the amazing Paulie Bleeker played by Michael Cera (aka: George Michael from Arrested Development- and if you don't know what Arrested Development is you need to add it to the top of you Netflix queue right now). These two high school awkwards are fantastic together. I have never felt more comfortable watching a completely uncomfortable situation then when they are on screen together. Brilliant.
As for the rest of the players, I must admit that I wasn't quite looking forward to seeing some of the other actors in the film. I have never been a big fan of Jennifer Garner, but I was very pleased with her in this role. She did a great job and she wasn't even shooting Chinese stars or doing "juno" chops or anything. -Are you kidding me? Juno chops?! I'm awesome.-
This is a must see. To the max. I was laughing out loud so hard that I was almost embarrassed of myself until I looked around and saw people laughing even harder than I was. By the end of the movie (and a few times in between) I had cried myself out of 6 tissues, my mascara and my shirt.
What it's worth to me:
I'd pay a babysitter for the night so that we could enjoy dinner and a late movie- which is saying a lot seeing as how we usually only go to movies when we have a giftcard in tow. I'd even buy a $7.00 ice cream sandwich and some sourpatch kids for desert.
Yep.

First off, totally agree (to the max).
Second, totally agree (to the Tatum).
Welcome to the blogosphere, little sister... it's a safe place to be (and as Darth Spencer mentioned, much cooler than face book... even though I'm guilty as charged on that one).
Love Juno as much as the first time Oblio listened to a White Stripes albumn.
Cheers and Weirs, (Freaks and Geeks Netflix; what up?!?!)
oznww
Um, oznww doesn;t mean anything, except that was the "word verification" I typed before posting... hmmm.
I agree. This was a great movie. So happy to see it get the win just by being nominated for best picture.
I don't think it will win but I still think it truly is the best movie of 2007.
Glad you are blogging now!
I can't wait to see this movie, but I think it's weird that you cried yourself out of your shirt... JK! I think I know what you meant. Fun blog idea by the way!
Per your comment aobut this being the best movie ever: questionable. I guess I am an old fart, storyline does matter. Pregnancy out of wedlock is sad. Juno was awesome. Paulie Bleeker was an interesting character. They made a great couple.
I'd see it again. Kudos on your first review! I thought it was EXCELLENT. Looking forward to your next one.
